Collection of personal data
In the course of its business, ALPHADIS collects certain personal data from website users, in particular through:
- the quote request form
- exchanges by email or telephone
The data collected may include:
- surname, first name and company
- email address and telephone number
- the service required, the boat’s characteristics (type, length, weight) and the location of the work
- any information voluntarily provided by the user in their message
Required form fields are marked. Without them, we cannot process the request.
Purposes of processing
The data collected is used to:
- respond to quote requests and enquiries
- handle the commercial and administrative follow-up of requests and services
- improve the quality of our service
It is never sold or used for marketing purposes by third parties.
Legal basis for processing
The data processing carried out by ALPHADIS is based on:
- the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the user’s request (quote request) or of a contract
- the user’s consent, given via the form checkbox
- the company’s legitimate interest in managing the business relationship
Retention period
Data relating to a quote request is kept for 3 years from the last contact, then deleted. Data relating to a completed service is kept for as long as necessary to comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Data recipients
Personal data is only shared with ALPHADIS’s internal departments and, where necessary to carry out the service, with its authorised partners and service providers (website host, technical contractors). It is hosted in France.
Users’ rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), every user has the following rights:
- right of access: view the personal data held about you
- right to rectification: correct inaccurate information
- right to erasure: request deletion of data in certain cases
- right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interest
- right to restriction of processing
- right to data portability: obtain your data in a structured format
